A leading construction management company in Quincy, MA is seeking an Entry Level Project Accountant. The role involves a focus on project accounting tasks such as invoicing, AP/AR management, and project setup, allowing for hands-on training and development. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow within the company. Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 / year DOE
Entry Level Project Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and organizing project accounting for small to large-scale projects
- Receive, process, and enter subcontractor invoices into the system
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) related to projects
- Track and monitor project budgets, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
- Support the team in various accounting tasks, including basic financial reporting and project cost tracking
- Collaborate closely with senior accounting staff and project managers to ensure accurate project financials
Entry Level Project Accountant Requirements:
- 0-3 years of accounting experience; prior experience in construction accounting is preferred but not required
- Strong desire to learn and develop accounting skills in the construction industry
- Motivated, hard-working, and willing to take on new challenges
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Strong communication and organizational skills
