A valve technology solutions company in Malvern, PA is on the lookout for an Engineer Product Manager to specialize in Hydronic Valve Systems. This is a fully remote and travel-based role that focuses on developing, implementing, and managing product specification activities to optimize sales support across assigned product lines in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US. They are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in engineering or technical sales, specifically within the HVAC who are experts in handling valves, HVAC systems, and industrial controls. This opportunity is perfect for those who are based in the Mid-Atlantic region (from Virginia and north), love hitting the road, and thrive in an independent setting. The position is 50% travel and 50% remote work where not only will you get to attend regional trade shows and engage directly with clients, but you ll also enjoy a paid trip to the factory in Italy each year. Additionally, the company provides generous health coverage reimbursement, 401K with full match, car allowance, company card, growth opportunities and so much more!

Pay Range: $70, 000 - $80, 000/year base or + bonus and commission

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to support both short-term and long-term sales goals for product lines
  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies
  • Directly engage with engineering firms and mechanical contractors to secure product specifications
  • Coordinate with sales teams to facilitate the transition from product specification to final sale, focusing on maximizing regional sales commissions
  • Represent the company at regional tradeshows and deliver educational presentations both in-person and virtually to inform engineers about products
  • Travel within the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions is required, balancing 50% travel with 50% remote work

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in engineering or technical sales, specifically within the HVAC industry.
  • Expertise in handling valves, HVAC systems, and industrial controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce (training will be provided)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to operate independently
  • A valid driver's license
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial industrial plumbing and air ventilation systems is preferred
