Remote CA Based with opportunity for in-office work
A premier defense law firm that specializes in worker s compensation, employment, general liability, state audits and subrogation law is searching for a seasoned Employment Attorney to work remotely from anywhere in California! They are seeking a talented and dynamic professional with a deep understanding of employment law and a proven track record in litigation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is skilled at managing a diverse load of employment law cases from inception to completion. The firm is renowned for its high standards with a reputation for excellence and offers a lucrative compensation package that includes performance bonuses, 100% insurance coverage for employees and family, unlimited PTO and so much more!
Salary Range: $190,000 - $225,000 / year DOE
Employment Attorney Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of employment law experience, including work with public entities
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Experience with school districts and defense cases preferred
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and meet billable hour requirements
Employment Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage and handle cases from inception through trial with high standards of quality and efficiency
- Attend hearings, client meetings, and depositions
- Conduct discovery and review files in a completely paperless environment
- Collaborate with legal assistants and support staff to maintain case organization and meet deadlines
- Use systems including Dragon for dictation, Practice Master for case management, and Tabs 3 for integrated billing
