A well-respected law firm that specializes in employment law is searching for a talented and motivated Employment Associate Attorney for its San Diego office. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment with long-term employees. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in employment litigation, with a strong preference for those who have navigated both plaintiff and defense sides. Your responsibilities will span from leading complex litigation cases and collaborating closely with senior partners, to client consultations and mediation sessions.

Pay Range: $100, 000 - $175, 000 DOE

  • Lead and manage complex litigation cases through all stages, including deposition intake, motion drafting, and courtroom presentation
  • Collaborate closely with senior partners to deliver comprehensive litigation support across various cases, ensuring high-quality preparation and execution of demand letters, legal motions, and complaints
  • Actively engage in client consultations, mediation sessions, and all facets of employment litigation, upholding the firm's commitment to exceptional client service
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by providing support where necessary and embracing the firm's collaborative culture

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • A minimum of 2 to 8 years'experience in employment litigation, with a strong preference for candidates proficient in representing both plaintiffs and defendants
  • Must be currently barred in the State of California, demonstrating a solid foundation in litigation and employment law
  • Demonstrated litigation proficiency, characterized by a dedication to meticulous legal work, strategic case management, and a genuine enthusiasm for employment law
