They are looking for passionate attorneys with either 1-2 years of civil litigation experience combined with employment law courses, internships, or clerkships, or candidates with 3+ years of civil litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in employment law through seminars, committee involvement, or networking events. Salary Range: $100,000 - $175,000 / year DOE
Employment Associate Attorney Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- At least 1-2 years of civil litigation experience AND employment law courses, employment law internships or clerkships OR 3+ years of civil litigation experience AND verified interest in employment law (seminars, employment committees, employment networking events, etc.)
- Will consider the following practice areas: Insurance Defense, Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation and/or Litigation that involves drafting complaints, motions to strike, demurs, etc
- Must be currently barred in the State of California, demonstrating a solid foundation in litigation and employment law
- Demonstrated litigation proficiency, characterized by a dedication to meticulous legal work, strategic case management, and a genuine enthusiasm for employment law
- Proven litigation skills, demonstrating dedication to precise legal work, strategic case management, and a passion for employment law.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity for strategic and creative thinking in complex legal scenarios.
- High level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring thorough preparation and follow-through on all casework aspects.
Employment Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex litigation cases through all stages, including deposition intake, motion drafting, and courtroom presentation
- Collaborate closely with senior partners to deliver comprehensive litigation support across various cases, ensuring high-quality preparation and execution of demand letters, legal motions, and complaints
- Actively engage in client consultations, mediation sessions, and all facets of employment litigation, upholding the firm's commitment to exceptional client service
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by providing support where necessary and embracing the firm's collaborative culture
