Job Description


A leading Manufacturing company is looking for Electronics Engineer in Southern California. The company is currently seeking a seasoned Electronics Engineer with a broad range of experience in developing test processes, reverse engineering, digital and analog circuit design, and troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies. They require engineers to have a high level of electronics experience to draw from to understand the various products and systems that need to be repaired. This is an exciting position to work directly with clients from different industries that are grateful for the solutions company delivers.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Responsibilities:
  • Perform research and repair evaluations of digital and analog electronic hardware
  • Ability to apply reverse engineering techniques ensuring full product functionality   
  • Work directly with customers to understand all their requirements
  • Ability to develop and deliver complete repair/manufacturing processes and procedures 
  • Develop and design test fixtures as necessary
  • Develop and design wiring harnesses as needed
  • Enable incoming registration and screening for each incoming unit
  • Operate a custom simulator application from a PC and evaluate the results as the processes unfold
  • Maintain product paperwork and document/record the work that is done and maintain records on products throughout the repair cycle
  • Product inventory organization and maintenance

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of work experience in electronics, design, diagnosis, repair, and test of moderately complex electronic assemblies
  • A strong understanding of FPGA, embedded systems, and the different programs required to work within electronic development and manufacturing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task while keeping priorities in order
  • Advanced level troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams
  • Ability to read and understand schematics
  • Ability to program devices using programmers and in-circuit methods
  • Knowledge of IEEE Standard for symbols for electrical and electronic diagrams
