Job Description
A leading Manufacturing company is looking for Electronics Engineer in Southern California. The company is currently seeking a seasoned Electronics Engineer with a broad range of experience in developing test processes, reverse engineering, digital and analog circuit design, and troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies. They require engineers to have a high level of electronics experience to draw from to understand the various products and systems that need to be repaired. Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000
Responsibilities:
- Perform research and repair evaluations of digital and analog electronic hardware
- Ability to apply reverse engineering techniques ensuring full product functionality
- Work directly with customers to understand all their requirements
- Ability to develop and deliver complete repair/manufacturing processes and procedures
- Develop and design test fixtures as necessary
- Develop and design wiring harnesses as needed
- Enable incoming registration and screening for each incoming unit
- Operate a custom simulator application from a PC and evaluate the results as the processes unfold
- Maintain product paperwork and document/record the work that is done and maintain records on products throughout the repair cycle
- Product inventory organization and maintenance
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10-15 years of work experience in electronics, design, diagnosis, repair, and test of moderately complex electronic assemblies
- A strong understanding of FPGA, embedded systems, and the different programs required to work within electronic development and manufacturing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task while keeping priorities in order
- Advanced level troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Ability to program devices using programmers and in-circuit methods
- Knowledge of IEEE Standard for symbols for electrical and electronic diagrams
