Electrical Project Manager
Job Description
A leading construction and electrical company in Vista, CA is searching for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry to oversee a diverse portfolio of multi-million-dollar projects including lab offices, school renovations, technology projects, and solar installations. The role requires a hands-on approach in a less corporate structured environment where you will be responsible for a majority of the decision-making and be required to make approximately one site visit per week. Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including educational facilities, technological installations, and solar projects
- Collaborate closely with assistant project managers and project engineers to achieve project objectives
- Actively engage in client interaction and business development activities to enhance client relationships and project opportunities
- Coordinate project logistics from inception through to completion, ensuring all project milestones are met
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, preferably with subcontractor experience
- Proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, and Acubid software
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a less structured and autonomous environment
- Prior experience or familiarity with unionized work settings is a plus
- Prior experience with small to mid-sized companies is preferred
- A practical, hands-on approach to project management
