Electrical MEP Revit Modeler
Job Description
A leading electrical engineering and architecture design firm is searching for an Electrical MEP Revit Modeler to join their team in a fully remote position! They are looking for candidates with exceptional skills in electrical BIM modeling to support the design and planning phase of construction projects by generating three-dimensional Building Information Models that accurately represent electrical layouts, components, and systems This position offers the unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the electrical construction industry, focusing on the design and execution of electrical systems for highly regulated environments such as clean rooms for electronics and food processing.
Pay Range: $29 -$35/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Accurately address and remedy project redlines and/or feedback
- Apply industry standards, design and construction codes, specifications, and regulations to complete tasks under project management direction
- Complete assigned project tasks from project management in a timely and accurate manner, requiring minimal supervision
- Collaborate on commercial BIM projects, focusing on electrical conduit, racking systems, and other commercial building requirements
Requirements:
- For Level II: Minimum of 3 years of experience
- For Level III: 6+ years of experience required
- Proficiency in Revit, with certification or demonstrable competency
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other systems such as Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM360, LotSpec, Cyclone, Scene, Sysque, etc
- Understanding of virtual design and construction concepts and best practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, accommodating PST working hours
- Candidates with their own hardware meeting minimum specs are preferred (64-bit Windows 10/11, Intel i-Series/Xeon /AMD Ryzen with 2.5GHz or higher, 32 GB RAM, DirectX 11 graphics card with Shader Model 5, 1TB SSD, .NET Framework Version 4.8 or later, and reliable internet connection)
