E-Commerce Marketing Manager

A thriving e-commerce company is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to oversee and drive the success of their online business on the BigCommerce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing website operations, tracking key performance indicators, improving customer experience, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with the Marketing Director to implement data-driven strategies that enhance conversion rates, increase average order value, and improve customer lifetime value. This role requires a proactive, strategic, and results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 / year DOE
E-Commerce Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage BigCommerce e-commerce operations, ensuring website performance and sales growth
- Develop and implement conversion rate optimization strategies to enhance user experience and increase revenue
- Oversee website traffic, analytics, A/B testing, and customer behavior tracking to identify improvement areas
- Manage and mentor two marketing specialists, providing guidance on campaigns and content strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product listings, pricing strategies, and SEO best practices
- Work closely with developers to improve website functionality, speed, and CMS performance
- Ensure e-commerce initiatives align with overall business objectives and commercial goals
- Manage online customer experience by refining navigation, content, and UI/UX elements
- Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize order values
- Track and report on e-commerce KPIs, including sales performance, traffic acquisition, and customer retention
- Work with HubSpot and other Martech platforms to integrate marketing automation and customer engagement tools
- Innovate new digital experiences and ensure brand consistency across all online channels
- Oversee product rollouts, ensuring seamless updates and synchronization across platforms
E-Commerce Manager Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in an E-Commerce Manager role
- Strong experience managing e-commerce operations on BigCommerce - minimum 1 year
- Experience with Shopify is a plus
- Background in B2B e-commerce preferred; experience in wholesale liquidation is a plus
- Proficiency in website analytics, SEO, A/B testing, and digital marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of customer behavior, CRO, and UX/UI best practices
- Experience using HubSpot is preferred
- Bachelor s degree
- Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, data-driven mindset, and the ability to work independently
