A leading lighting manufacturer is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Distributor Sales Person in Concord, California. This position involves driving product adoption with electrical distributors and contractors, building relationships with clients, and supporting product training and project development. This role requires frequent travel, in-person site visits, and participation in trade shows, ensuring hands-on support across the local market.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / year DOE
Distributor Sales Person Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with electrical distributors and small contractors
- Share new product info, training resources, and participate in job walks
- Liaise with the solutions team to provide recommendations for projects
- Manage distributor inventory, ensuring stock meets company requirements
- Conduct product presentations and participate in trade shows
- Train and support distributors on product offerings and best practices
Distributor Sales Person Requirements:
- 0-5+ years of experience in electrical distribution or sales
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced sales environment
- High attention to detail and organization
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel and site visits
