Job Description
A cutting-edge information technology company is seeking a digitally fluent Director of Sales to sell a customized AI software platform to marketers! The company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in the SaaS/tech industry, that has strong connections with the digital advertising agency world to help drive sales for the company.
As the Director of Sales, you'll be joining a small company with a vibrant culture and a strong track record of employee longevity. This job also comes with the flexibility of remote working.
Pay Range: $135,000 - $160,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of the WODWO platform, focusing on digital product sales
- Expand business development efforts and generate leads
- Utilize familiarity and contacts within marketing agencies to move sales forward
- Conduct virtual demos, follow-up calls, and contract negotiations
- Leverage existing marketing agency relationships and establish new connections
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth
- Collaborate with the CEO and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to develop and execute sales strategies
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite and any necessary tools for effective sales processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in selling to digital agencies or SaaS/DaaS platforms
- Familiarity with marketing agencies and high-level ad or marketing agencies
- Experience in the digital world, such as working with DSPs or DMPs, is a plus
- Strong network and industry connections in the digital marketing space
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in an individual contributor role
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a distributed team
