Job Description
A thriving real estate development company specializing in multifamily projects, hotels, and industrial properties is seeking a Development Associate. You will work directly with experienced leadership to learn every facet of the development process. Development Associate Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in multifamily real estate
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Background in construction, real estate, asset management, architecture, or engineering preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage diverse tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Development Associate Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the development process, including land acquisition, deal structuring, and project management
- Manage design consultants and oversee zoning, permitting, and land contracts
- Assist with marketing, lease-ups, and asset disposition
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure project milestones are met
- Underwrite deals and provide financial analysis as needed
- Adapt to shifting priorities and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success
