Development Associate
Job Description
A thriving real estate development company specializing in multifamily projects, hotels, and industrial properties is seeking a Development Associate. Located in Dallas, TX, this entrepreneurial organization offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you can develop your skills, tackle challenging projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of the company. You will work directly with experienced leadership to learn every facet of the development process. This is an onsite role, ideal for driven individuals eager to grow their careers in real estate development.
Development Associate Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in multifamily real estate
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Background in construction, real estate, asset management, architecture, or engineering preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage diverse tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Development Associate Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the development process, including land acquisition, deal structuring, and project management
- Manage design consultants and oversee zoning, permitting, and land contracts
- Assist with marketing, lease-ups, and asset disposition
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure project milestones are met
- Underwrite deals and provide financial analysis as needed
- Adapt to shifting priorities and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success
