Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance to oversee all accounting functions within the Corporate Office, ensuring alignment with both strategic objectives and operational requirements
- Develop and uphold accounting practices, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant legal regulations
- Generate accurate and timely financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets while ensuring compliance with GAAP, alongside federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to guarantee financial integrity and alignment with the company s strategic goals
- Execute financial analyses to uncover areas for improvement and efficiency gains, communicating findings and recommendations clearly
- Participate in the preparation and review of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and plans, ensuring they reflect organizational objectives and constraints
- Manage the financial components of key projects and initiatives, providing insights through financial modeling and analysis to support project success
- Regularly monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying trends and formulating strategies to optimize financial health
- Stay up-to-date with developments in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, ensuring organizational adherence and proactive compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, with a preference for professional certifications such as CPA or CMA
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting and finance roles, with a strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and the maintenance of internal controls, with a keen focus on compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in all financial undertakings
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively collaborating with and presenting to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of financial software applications and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement
