Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize all accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Develop and present accurate financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to drive informed decision-making and cash flow efficiency
- Establish and monitor robust internal controls to protect assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information
- Provide strategic financial insights to guide leadership on business growth and operational efficiency
- Manage, train, and mentor the accounting team to foster a culture of professional development and accountability
Controller Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior accounting or financial leadership role
- Experience with Ajira is required
- Expertise in GAAP/IFRS standards and financial reporting practices, with demonstrated compliance expertise
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow to ensure operational success
- Skilled in implementing and evaluating internal control systems to enhance financial accuracy and asset security
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, dedicated to fostering employee growth and development
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with CPA certification strongly preferred
