Job Description


A premier property management and real estate company located in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA, is searching for a skilled Controller to join their team! They are seeking someone with at least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance to oversee the company s financial operations with precision and strategic insight. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a high level of integrity, exceptional problem-solving skills, a passion for accuracy, and thrives in a small, non-corporate team environment where everyone is quick to lend a hand. You ll enjoy your own private office, excellent benefits, and a casual yet stable work atmosphere!

Pay Range: $160, 000 - $175, 000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Asset Management company's AP and AR functions without direct reports
  • Review and consolidate quarterly reports from external Property Managers
  • Prepare monthly Total Income summary sheets
  • Manage monthly distributions to investors and family, with a summary recap
  • Monitor insurance requirements and setup payment allocations per property
  • Conduct financial analysis for leases, acquisitions, or sales
  • Maintain up-to-date loan schedules and cash positions for all properties
  • Develop and oversee the annual budget and CapEx plan
  • Handle investor relations, including quarterly P&L reporting

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Proficiency in Yardi and Excel is required Quickbooks Desktop is preferred
  • Must have experience in the real estate sector (residential or commercial)
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • High level of integrity with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in a family office or small company environment
  • Ability to adapt to a casual, but professional workplace culture
