Senior Construction Project Administrator
Job Description
A reputable long-standing general contractor company is seeking a Construction Project Administrator to assist and support the project team members. This role involves maintaining accurate project records, coordinating meetings between subcontractors and clients, and performing general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized with top-tier time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in the construction industry.
Construction Project Administrator Requirements:
- 4+ years of related administrative experience, with at least 2 years in construction
- Experience assisting on large projects or teams with 10+ people
- High School Diploma required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented; adequate organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude; excellent communication and client service skills
- Experience with Procore is a plus
- Any experience with RFIs or permit applications is a plus
- Ability to work onsite 100% at the project location in Goodyear, AZ
Construction Project Administrator Responsibilities:
- Support the overall project team, including superintendents and executives, for all administrative tasks
- Order supplies and manage mailings
- Coordinate site visits and ensure visitor needs are met, including meals
- Oversee one entry-level admin and facilitate day-to-day operations
- Track subcontractor insurance and manage expense reports and budgeting
- Monitor RFIs and ensure accurate documentation
- Assist with lean tracking and other project-specific tasks
- Maintain accurate and complete records of project documents
- Plan and coordinate team and company events
