A fire protection services company in Santa Fe Springs, CA is searching for a Construction Office Manager or Bookkeeper to join their team! This role is perfect for a versatile individual with a background in construction accounting where you will handle a blend of accounting and administrative tasks from AR/AP, payroll, mail management, union compliance, and more. You ll get to have a lot of autonomy in your role in a relaxed and casual work environment at a company that values and rewards hard work. If you have at least 5 years of experience in construction accounting and you re looking for a stable position in a small office environment, this might be the job you ve been looking for!

Pay Range: $75, 000 - $85, 000 DOE

Construction Office Manager/Bookkeeper Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in construction accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Experience with certified payroll and construction-related financial management
  • Ability to perform office management tasks beyond accounting
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of fire protection industry is a plus

Constructor Office Manager/Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including billing and payment schedules
  • Prepare and manage payroll, including certified payroll and tax submissions
  • Handle union reports and insurance certificates
  • Maintain and organize job folders and contracts
  • Ensure compliance and timely submission of financial documents
