Job Description
A modern home remodeling and construction services company in Pacific Beach, CA is searching for an experienced Construction Manager to supervise their project management team to ensure the successful execution and completion of ground-up residential construction projects! They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of residential construction management, strong attention to detail and a proactive, results-oriented attitude. Pay Range: $150, 000 - $175, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the project management team to ensure project execution aligns with timelines and budgets
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors to maintain quality and schedule integrity
- Perform regular site visits to oversee construction progress and compliance with safety standards
- Review project plans and schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives
- Coordinate with local authorities for necessary inspections and approvals
- Identify and solve project issues promptly to avoid delays
- Act as a liaison for construction-related customer communications, ensuring satisfaction
- Lead and develop the project management team to promote a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Monitor and manage project budgets and expenses to keep financial targets on track
- Ensure all construction activities meet both legal standards and company quality benchmarks
- Promote and enforce safety regulations on all job sites
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements to senior management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in residential construction management, with a focus on ground-up projects
- Proven supervisory experience, with strong leadership skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience prioritized over formal education or certifications
