Community Manager
Job Description
A leading real estate firm in Tustin, CA is searching for an outgoing and personable Community Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of community properties! They are looking for a polished professional with at least two years of experience as a property or community manager who is reliable, organized and ready to handle both day-to-day operations and unexpected challenges with a proactive and communicative approach. The position is located in a modern office space where you ll enjoy health benefits, a 401K, generous PTO, paid holidays and unique office perks such as spa water, unlimited ice cream and other yummy treats! There is some travel involved for property visits and meetings, along with occasional evening work. Entry-level candidates with a strong cultural fit are encouraged to apply!
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 / year DOE
Community Manager Requirements:
- 2-4+ years of experience as a property or community manager preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Experience with HOA management preferred but not required
- Bachelor s degree is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to have difficult conversations
- Servant leadership mindset with a focus on customer service
- Must be able to work 3 days onsite at the Tustin office and 2 days onsite at the Huntington Beach property
Community Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of community properties, varying in size from 75 to 400 residents
- Act as the primary liaison between the HOA board of directors and homeowners
- Attend monthly and bimonthly HOA meetings; meetings may require evening attendance
- Form and maintain strong relationships with HOA board members
- Address and resolve complaints from HOA members
- Manage communication and operational tasks promptly and efficiently
- Some travel is required for property visits and meetings; frequency depends on specific community needs
