Commercial Corporate Counsel
Job Description
Boutique Recruiting has partnered with a railroad freight and logistics company in Darien, CT to find a Commercial Corporate Counsel to join their team of legal experts! The company is looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience in commercial contracting to work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel to handle a wide variety of contracts related to rail-freight operations. This includes commercial contracts, procurement services contracts, IT contracts, contracts with railroads, contracts with government entities, real estate contracts, and more!

Pay Range: $150,000 - $170,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, contractors, and government entities
- Managing procurement services contracts, IT contracts, and contracts with railroads
- Handling real estate contracts, including leasing agreements
- Providing legal support for subsidiary management and potential M&A financings
- Assisting with real estate matters and property rights determinations
- Collaborating with the legal team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Conducting legal research and providing advice on various legal matters
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial contracts
- Familiarity with Real Estate leases
- Licensed to practice law in Connecticut or New York/Massachusetts with the ability to obtain in-house certification in Connecticut
- Law firm experience is required
- In-house experience is preferred
- Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus
- Big Law experience is preferred
