A reputable real estate company is seeking a Commercial Clearance Officer to oversee settlement preparation and ensure seamless transaction processes. This remote role involves collaborating with developers, real estate investors, attorneys, bankers, and internal teams to ensure seamless and accurate transactions. Experience in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are required for this position. Key responsibilities include preparing pro formas and settlement statements, reviewing clearance documents, resolving title commitment requirements, and maintaining systems to meet critical milestones. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with 2-5 years of experience in the title industry. They excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring precision and efficiency in all aspects of their work.
Commercial Clearance Officer Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with developers, real estate investors, attorneys, and bankers throughout the transaction process
- Prepare pro formas and settlement statements in accordance with lender closing instructions
- Review and analyze clearance documents, including title commitments, to ensure all requirements are met per underwriter specifications
- Resolve title commitment requirements not authorized for clearance officers to handle, using expertise to expedite transactions
- Manage and maintain the GreenFolders system, ensuring milestones are achieved according to company policy
- Finalize and prepare TitleExpress and GreenFolders for settlement, delivering a complete closing package to the closer
- Coordinate with the funding department to ensure accurate file preparation for disbursement
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing all client requests and coordinating with parties involved in the transition
- Seek and secure referral business to expand your book of business
Commercial Clearance Officer Requirements:
- High school diploma required; bachelor s degree preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in the title industry, with experience in NJ and PA required
- Must be knowledgeable of doing high level doc reviews for (PA and NJ) pro formas, policies, and endorsements
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Teams a plus)
- Expertise in using SoftPro and Microsoft 360 systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle heavy client contact and provide excellent customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressures and follow through to meet team-oriented goals
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to understanding and utilizing company technology tools
