Job Description
A financial services firm in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a Client Service Associate to join their growing team. In this role, you ll be at the heart of the office, supporting a team of advisors, making sure operations run smoothly, and ensuring clients have a welcoming, seamless experience. If you re someone who loves being organized, takes initiative, and thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment, this could be the perfect fit for you. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in financial services, be comfortable with handling various administrative tasks, and be excited to work fully onsite. Client Service Associate Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Client Service Associate in financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (with formulas)
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new software systems
- Professional, friendly demeanor with strong communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Bachelor s degree in a related field is preferred
- Series 65 license or willingness to obtain is preferred
- Familiarity with the Schwab platform is preferred
- Maryland Notary (or willingness to become one) is preferred
Client Service Associate Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to five financial advisors, including handling paperwork and mail
- Help set up for client meetings and ensure the office is organized and well-stocked
- Assist with client inquiries and follow up on any paperwork issues
- Manage office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
- Serve as the primary contact for in-office visitors, including clients who may drop by spontaneously
- Work closely with paraplanners to ensure client needs are met
- Utilize various software platforms such as Schwab, Black Diamond, and Wealth Box CRM
