Job Description

A financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Client Associate to join their team in Burlington, WA. As a Client Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Advisors (FAs) by providing administrative and client-facing support. The ideal candidate will have professional experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle large sums of money. 
Pay Range:$52,000 - $55,000 DOE 
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times to ensure client satisfaction 
  • Ensure adherence to all Branch, Firm, and Compliance policies, procedures, rules and regulations 
  • Inform FAs of all important information and activities related to their client’s accounts and transactions in a timely manner 
  • Escalate client or operational issues to BOM or BOOM as necessary 
  • Facilitate the transfer of client funds and/or securities at the direction of the FA 
  • Review and maintain all account documents and information 
  • Compose letters and memoranda in accordance with established policies and procedures 
  • Provide backup for other support positions in the branch if needed 
  • Understand and utilize the Firm’s desktop systems and applications and the related functionality as it applies to client service and business enhancement 
  • Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary 
  • Working knowledge of the securities industry, its operations and its products 
  • High School diploma, GED or comparable work experience. Post-Secondary education preferred. Prior industry experience is a plus 
  • Proficient computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) 
  • Mathematical aptitude 
  • Strong communications skills; verbal and written 
  • Good organizational, Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality 
  • Ability to work in a computerized environment 
  • Follow policies and procedures 
  • Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients 
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
