A premier legal services firm in Fullerton, CA is seeking a driven and experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their team! The firm specializes in family law, civil litigation, estate planning, and corporate law, and they are looking for highly organized candidates with at least 3 years of strong civil litigation experience across various areas including family law, personal injury, employment, probate/trust, real estate, estate planning, and business litigation. Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year DOE
Civil Litigation Paralegal Requirements:
- 3+ years of strong experience in civil litigation, involving family law, personal injury, employment, probate/trust litigation, real estate, estate planning, and/or business litigation
- Must have employment law experience
- E-filings (state and federal court) is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Merrith, SharePoint, and Cleo billing management systems
- Paralegal certificate is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, team leadership, and vendor management experience
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Civil Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Support paralegals and legal secretaries in a fast-paced office setting
- Assist with family law and estate planning filings
- Handling arbitration and federal work
- E-filings (state and federal court)
- Perform critical calendaring duties and finalize legal documents
- Prepare and file pleadings and motions
- Manage cases and handle discovery processes
- Prepare for trials and answer phones
