Civil Litigation Attorney
Job Description
A distinguished legal firm in San Diego, CA that specializes in employment law is seeking a highly motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team! This position comes with the potential to become partner, so the firm is looking for an experienced attorney who is a self-starter, team player and ready to put the work in that is required to move up the chain of command.
The firm is looking for candidates with 3-12 years of civil litigation experience, with employment class action litigation being ideal. Pay Range: $140,000 - $180,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively on 20-30 cases
- Point of contact for 6-10 cases
- Motions with review of the Partners
- Conduct discovery
- Make court appearances
- Draft complaints
- Take depositions
- Strategize with cases to develop a plan
- Handle smaller cases from beginning to end
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation
- Experience in employment class action law is a plus
- Strong writing skills and a strategic mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong work ethic
