An innovative product in the assembly industry in Poway, CA is searching for a dedicated and experienced Chief Operating Officer to do this and grow. Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 / year DOE
Chief Operating Officer Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar)
- 10+ years of experience in engineering and production management
- Proven experience in managing operations in small to mid-sized companies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform detailed cost analysis
- Excellent leadership skills with a positive and motivational approach
- Upbeat and positive, capable of motivating and leading a diverse team
- Ability to implement and improve systems in a growing company
Chief Operating Officer Responsibilities:
- Add structure to the manufacturing process, implementing systems and improving reporting
- Plan, schedule, and manage production to enhance efficiencies and increase margins
- Analyze results and understand the impact of changes on finances, performing cost analysis in collaboration with the engineering department
- Train and mentor production staff, introducing new methods and improving current practices
- Oversee the tracking of inventory and parts using Activate ERP and QuickBooks for financials
