Job Description

A commercial real estate investment company in Orlando, FL is searching for a Bookkeeper/Property Manager with experience in the real estate sector to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper and excellent people skills to manage invoice processes and tenant interactions. Pay Range: $50, 000 - $60, 000 DOE

  • MUST be familiar with Real Estate and contracts.
  • MUST be familiar with CAM reconciliations and lease terms processing
  • At least 2 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping, including invoicing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Desktop
  • Must have AppFolio
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, particularly with formulas (no need for pivot tables and vlookups)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for tenant interfacing
  • Great writing and communication skills are essential
  • The ability to multitask and manage time effectively is crucial

  • Read and understand lease terms, process lease amendments, and conduct CAM reconciliations
  • Handle invoicing for about 200 tenants across 30 properties, including hospitality venues
  • Manage accounts payable and oversee vendor invoices
  • Follow up on late payments from tenants and send necessary notices
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance requests, ensuring timely scheduling and billing
  • Assist in managing financial aspects of the properties, including bank reconciliations and transactional accounting
  • Prepare for and assist in audit and tax return processes for multiple entities
  • Oversee and maintain effective communication with tenants, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service
