Bilingual Senior Safety Trainer
Job Description
A leading provider of safety and health services in the southeastern U.S. Is looking for a Bilingual Senior Safety Trainer to lead their training programs in Lithia, FL! They are looking for someone with at least 8 years of experience as a safety trainer with a deep level of expertise to deliver high-quality safety training focusing on the construction, mining, energy, solar and related industry sectors. The role requires extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, with a strong preference for bilingual candidates, and the ability to travel within the mid to eastern US as needed. Pay Range: $90, 000 - $100, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Deliver OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses, alongside other safety training programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and other relevant standards
- Develop and update training materials and curricula to reflect the latest in safety regulations and best practices
- Conduct training needs assessments and tailor programs to meet the specific requirements of different audiences
- Maintain detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness
- Travel as necessary to conduct on-site training sessions across the mid to eastern U.S
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in safety training
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
- Current OSHA 500 & 510 certifications
- Certified MSHA Instructor, with a valid MSHA blue card
- Certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED/BBP (AHA or the American Red Cross)
- Certified instructor in Mobile Equipment Training and NUCA/NCEER
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a proven track record of effective training delivery
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- NFPA 70E Arc Flash Awareness certification is preferred
- College degree in adult education or related field is preferred
- Experience as a Surface Mine and Underground Trainer/Instructor is preferred
