Job Description
A nationally leading steel manufacturing company in Pittsburgh, PA is searching for an experienced HR Benefits Analyst to manage all aspects of benefits administration! They are looking for strong candidates with at least 3 years of in-house benefits administration, union experience and familiarity with Ceridian/Dayforce to collaborate closely with the Supervisor of Benefits to ensure smooth plan operations and compliance. You will also work with third-party administrators and maintain retiree program reports. This is a great position for a mid-career professional who is looking for the work-life balance of a hybrid schedule and can hit the ground running with minimal coaching. Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 / year DOE
HR Benefits Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree required
- 3+ years of in-house benefits administration experience
- Familiarity with Ceridian/Dayforce is required
- Union experience is required
- CEBS certification is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Excel and the ability to build pivot tables
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and with micromanagers
HR Benefits Analyst Responsibilities:
- Administer benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, FSA, and transportation accounts
- Ensure compliance with Section 125 and other regulatory requirements
- Build reports and analyze benefits data using Excel (including pivot tables)
- Maintain retiree reporting and prepare Annual EEO-1 Reporting
- Collaborate with TPA to manage retiree medical plans, HRA, and life insurance
- Oversee 401k plans, ensuring annual audits and regulatory compliance
- Monitor healthcare coverage information and handle mailings
- Support the implementation of SAP and Dayforce systems
