Job Description


An established law firm in Sherman Oaks is looking to hire a REMOTE Bad Faith Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. This law firm provides litigation defense and business consultation legal services in a wide range of practice areas. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of experience as an attorney and 2 of those including bad faith litigation. The Insurance Defense Associate Attorney will be on the coverage and bad faith litigation team.

Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Will join the coverage and bad faith litigation team
  • Defending insurance companies or dealing with coverage opinions
  • Responsible for 10 complex cases
  • Motion for summary judgment
  • Heavy discovery work
  • Work with a team of 4-5 on all cases
  • Requesting law in motion
 
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as an attorney
  • 2+ years of experience including bad faith litigation on the defense side
  • Insurance defense experience
  • General civil litigation experience required
  • Works well both independently and collaboratively
  • Federal experience preferred
  • Proficient in Abacus is a plus
  • Microsoft Suite experience is preferred
  • REMOTE; CA barred required
