Construction Defect Attorney
Job Description
An established law firm in Sherman Oaks, CA are looking to hire an experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join their team. This law firm provides litigation defense and business consultation legal services in a wide range of practice areas. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of experience as an attorney and 2 of those including construction defect litigation. This position is remote.
Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Join the Construction Defect litigation team
- Defending insurance companies or dealing with coverage opinions
- Responsible for 10 complex cases
- Motion for summary judgment
- Heavy discovery work
- Work with a team of 4-5 on all cases
- Requesting law in motion
- 4+ years of experience as an attorney
- 2+ years of experience in Construction Defect litigation on the defense side
- Insurance defense experience
- General civil litigation experience required
- Works well both independently and collaboratively
- Federal experience preferred
- Proficient in Abacus is a plus
- Microsoft Suite experience is preferred
