Job Description
A large auto dealership in North Spring, Texas is on the lookout for an Automotive CFO to oversee all financial operations of the company! This is a high-impact role offering an exciting opportunity for an accomplished finance leader in the automotive industry. The Automotive CFO will oversee a wide range of responsibilities, from managing dealership financials to cultivating key banking relationships, providing the perfect platform for an experienced professional to excel and make a significant contribution. Salary Range: $275,000 - $300,000 / year DOE
Automotive CFO Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of accounting
- 5+ years of automotive required
- 8+ years of automotive preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred
- Experience with banking relationships and automotive dealership operating reports
- CPA certification
- Familiarity with CDK
- Community and customer service-oriented mindset
Automotive CFO Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts with manufacturers and manage sales/service partnership agreements
- Track cash flows and distributions for dealerships and other entities owned by the company
- Oversee capital improvements, building remodels, and banking relationships
- Manage monthly dealership financials and annual tax returns
- Supervise private wealth management, trust accounts, insurance, and workers' comp
- Oversee leasing and purchasing of IT infrastructure
- Handle various projects and personal finance oversight in collaboration with the owners
