Job Description
Boutique Recruiting has teamed up with a leading accounting firm in search of an experienced Audit Manager to work remotely for their team! As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for serving a client base of privately-held companies and non-profit organizations. This role requires strong tax management experience and expertise in managing audits and reviews.
The right person for this position will have leadership skills to be able to train new hires, along with the ability to manage team projects for effectiveness and efficiency. This exciting opportunity provides a competitive salary with an annual bonus, 100% medical coverage for employees, a 401k with profit sharing and it is fully remote, so you can work flexibly from anywhere!
Pay Range: $145,000 - $165,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Review and manage income tax audits, reviews, and compliance for various clients, including closely-held businesses, employee benefit plans, high net worth individuals, non-profits, private foundations, real estate, trusts, and estates
- Collaborate with partners to plan upcoming audits and ensure effective team allocation and resource management
- Oversee the entire audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Prepare comprehensive reports and effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to clients and senior management
- Coordinate and obtain necessary information and data from team members to initiate specific audit engagements
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with partners, managers, supervisors, and staff accountants
- Manage project timelines to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in teamwork and project delivery
- Provide exceptional client service and build strong client relationships
Requirements:
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant
- Degree in taxation or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting, with a focus on audits and reviews
- Leadership skills
- Strong technical, professional, and research skills
- Experience working in a paperless environment
