Audit Associate
Job Description
A well-established financial services firm based in St. Paul, MN is seeking a talented Audit Associate to join their team! They are looking for someone to lead and manage audit assignments, providing guidance to a diverse range of high-wealth clients. Pay Range: $75,000 - $120,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits for a diverse range of clients, including for-profit and non-profit organizations
- Plan and manage multiple audit assignments in various industries, such as employee benefit plans, construction, and manufacturing
- Act as the trusted advisor for clients, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Build and strengthen client relationships, providing individual attention and responsiveness
- Prepare financial statements and understand the engagement budget
- Complete audit tasks within the specified timeframes
- Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in audit processes
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of audit experience
- Prior experience in an accounting or tax firm is required
- CPA certification is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred
