Job Description
A distinguished public accounting firm is seeking an Audit Manager with auto dealerships experience to join their team in Oak Brook, IL! This is a hybrid style position where you will be responsible for auditing 20+ automotive dealerships in the Chicago area. The firm is looking for candidates with at least 8 years total experience auditing, with 2 or more years managing automotive audits or at least 4 years managing any type of auto/motorcycle/boat dealership audits.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $135,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Oversee auditing processes for around 20+ dealerships annually
- Conduct inventory audits and ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Collaborate with an assistant auditor as needed
- Provide proactive, practical advice to dealerships based on audit findings
- Maintain strong relationships with dealership personnel
- Manage audit timelines and deliverables
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the internal team for smooth audit processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of management experience in automotive audit OR 4+ years managing any type of auto/motorcycle/boat dealership audits
- 8+ years of total audit experience
- Experience with auto dealers and automotive audits
- Proficiency in public accounting
- Experience with inventory, financial statements, and potentially tax work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Prosystem FX (accounting/auditing software) is preferred
