Audit Associate or Senior Audit Associate- Hybrid schedule
Job Description
A leading CPA firm in Milwaukee, WI is searching for a talented Audit Associate to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of external auditing experience at an accounting firm to be responsible for conducting audits primarily for schools, non-profits, governments, and some for-profit entities. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, recording transactions, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. The company offers a friendly environment, the flexibility and work-life balance of a hybrid schedule, overtime pay, and a stable book of business right from the start!
Pay Range: $65,000 - $120,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits for schools, non-profits, governments, and some for-profit entities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Record financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee approximately 40 clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Plan, execute, and conclude audit engagements within specified timeframes
- Utilize CCH Engagement software for audit processes
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of external audit experience in an accounting firm
- High School Diploma
- CPA preferred
- Experience with CCH Engagement software preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
