Associate Service Advisor
Job Description

A growing financial and retirement planning firm in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois is seeking an Associate Service Advisor to support their lead advisors in delivering exceptional client service. This role involves attending client meetings, handling follow-up tasks, and managing various client service needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who is comfortable interacting with clients and has a strong work ethic. Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 / year DOE
Associate Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Open new advising accounts and manage and maintain existing accounts
- Work with clients during meetings to ensure their needs are met
- Support senior advisors to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Create follow-up emails and take notes during meetings
- Prep paperwork for clients, including emails and constructed plans
- Conduct reviews for B to C level clients (lower level) and engage with clients if senior advisors are in a meeting or on a call
- Use software tools, including Morningstar, Riskalyze, eMoney, tax software, tax planning software, and social security software
Associate Service Advisor Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 2-5 years of experience in financial services, investment management, insurance, RIAs, or financial planning firms
- Series 65 or Series 66 certification is required
- Life insurance license preferred but not required
- CFP or other financial planning certifications preferred but not required
- Ability to work onsite full-time
