Associate Financial Advisor
Job Description
A reputable financial services firm, is seeking a dedicated Associate Financial Advisor to join their team in New Brighton, Minnesota. This role is perfect for a current Client Service Associate (CSA) or paraplanner ready to take the next step in their career. The Associate Financial Advisor will support the team in delivering high-quality financial planning services to clients. If you have at least two years of experience in a financial planning firm and are passionate about helping clients make smart financial decisions, this opportunity offers excellent training and growth potential within the company!
Associate Financial Advisor Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree is required
- CFP designation, or willingness to obtain promptly
- Series 7 and 66 licenses
- 2+ years of experience in a financial planning firm, preferably as a CSA or paraplanner ready for the next step
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with Calendly, ShareFile, and DocuSign is preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for helping clients and coworkers
Associate Financial Advisor Responsibilities:
- Manage existing client relationships, providing comprehensive financial planning advice
- Develop and present investment, tax, risk, education, and estate planning strategies
- Respond to client inquiries and requests promptly
- Conduct regular client reviews and update financial plans in Money Guide Pro and Right Capital
- Attend client meetings, take notes, and create tasks
- Implement trades, distributions, journals, and rebalances
- Be the primary point of contact for client calls
- Continuously maintain client relationships, understanding their unique circumstances and needs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a high standard of client service
- Learn and adhere to company-specific processes and procedures
