Job Description

A distinguished law firm in Denver, CO is searching for a talented Associate Attorney to join their team! This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate and ambitious attorney to join a firm that participates in high-stakes, litigious cases. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in family law litigation to manage a caseload of family law cases, with the readiness to go to court and handle litigation. Pay Range: $100, 000 - $150, 000 DOE

  • Handle a caseload of approximately 30-40 family law cases, with the expectation that a significant portion will proceed to court
  • Engage actively in litigation, demonstrating comfort and proficiency in the courtroom
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals and legal assistants, maintaining open and effective communication
  • Contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence through diligent case management and client interaction
  • Adapt to a paperless work environment while ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of client information
  • Participate in the firm s community engagement and reputation-building activities

  • J.D. From an accredited law school and active bar status in Colorado
  • 2-5 years of legal experience, with a preference for backgrounds in family law and litigation
  • Courtroom experience highly preferred, indicating a readiness to handle litigious cases
  • Proficiency with legal software, specifically Clio, and comfort using Mac products and iPads in the courtroom
  • Strong independent work ethic, with the ability to also work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting the firm s emphasis on client care and internal synergy
