Job Description

A leading fiberglass pipe manufacturer is searching for an Area Sales Manager to join their team in a fully remote, regional position!  They are looking for someone who lives in the North Central US/Central Canada that has at least 5 years of technical sales experience and knowledge of the sewer/water pipe market to drive sales in that region.  This role is perfect for someone passionate about contributing to innovative and quality pipe solutions in the water and sewer markets who is looking to join a great company with a fun work culture.  The position comes with a great salary and benefits with generous time off, a car allowance, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to work for a market leader with a great reputation!

Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales of fiberglass pipes for sewer applications, storm drains, and other uses
  • Manage existing contracts and accounts while developing new business opportunities
  • Engage with municipalities, construction companies, and engineering firms
  • Focus on introducing and selling new pressure and water pipe products in the market
  • Regularly update CRM systems and manage project flow
  • Travel within the territory (North Central US/Central Canada) for sales meetings and client engagement

Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of technical sales experience, preferably in sewer/water pipe market
  • Understanding of municipal market segments and product offerings
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Self-motivated, team player, outgoing, and well-spoken
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
  • Must live in the North Central US or Central Canada
