A well-established property management firm with decades of experience in real estate operations, specializing in multi-family rental management, is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. Located in El Cajon, California, this role involves handling high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions, bank reconciliations, and ensuring smooth financial processes for a team dedicated to property management. Salary Range: $30 - $35 / hour DOE
Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
- Reconcile bank statements in AppFolio with attention to detail
- Process owner distributions, tenant receipts, and move-out entries
- Scan checks, assist in filing, and provide general administrative support
- Assist with answering phones and addressing tenant inquiries
- Help with paying mortgages and managing property-related financial tasks
Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior experience in property management highly preferred
- Familiarity with AppFolio software is a plus
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not essential
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
