AP/AR Specialist
Job Description

As an AP/AR Specialist, you will manage high-volume accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and efficiency. Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 / year DOE
Accounting Specialist Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or receivable
- Proficiency in data entry and financial reporting
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Prior experience in an office setting
- Experience with CargoWise or any TMS system is required
- A background in logistics
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred but not required
Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of monthly statements, payments, and invoices with accuracy
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships
- Perform data entry and update financial reports regularly
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency
- Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
