As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee critical financial processes, including reconciliations, reporting, and operational support. With opportunities to work closely with leadership, this role provides a balance of hands-on accounting and team management. They are seeking a highly organized and friendly professional with a proven track record in accounting management and a passion for collaboration.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and general accounts to maintain accuracy
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to support strategic decision-making
- Manage accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory tracking for efficient operations
- Assist external audits by preparing schedules, reconciling discrepancies, and submitting documentation
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations
- Implement and improve accounting systems to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance
- Ensure all activities align with company policies and accounting standards
Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1+ year in a management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with MRI or similar accounting software is preferred
- Background in the hospitality industry is a plus
