Accounting Clerk Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting
- Basic understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting principles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and able to manage workload independently
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
- Familiarity with Baker Tilly software is preferred
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for invoices, payments, and financial data
- Manage coding and classification of financial transactions
- Update and maintain Excel templates for financial tracking and reporting
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions (50+ per week)
- Prepare and mail out financial documents
- Assist with reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files
