Job Description
An industry-leading emergency services company that specializes in handling personal property covered under insurance is seeking an experienced Account Supervisor to join their team in Carlsbad, CA! They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience to assist and support clients who have experienced emergencies such as fires or floods that have damaged their personal property. The role involves helping clients understand their insurance policies, managing invoices, and negotiating with insurance companies on their behalf. Pay Range: $65, 000 - $80, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients after initial emergency services
- Assist policyholders in understanding their insurance policies and coverage
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding estimates and invoices on behalf of clients
- Negotiate invoices and terms with insurance providers
- Explain the services offered in detail and address client questions
- Use CRM systems to maintain client records and follow-up activities
- Collaborate with the senior project manager to ensure clients receive the coverage they need
- Conduct frequent communication and negotiation calls with insurance adjusters
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or account management role
- High school diploma required;a bachelor's degree is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to handle difficult conversations
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
