A vibrant and growing print and mail company in Tonawanda, NY is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join their team. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building genuine relationships and finding creative solutions to meet client needs. If you have a strong background in B2B sales especially in printing or packaging and enjoy working in a supportive, team-oriented environment, this could be a great fit. Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 / year DOE
Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor
- Apply consultative sales techniques to identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services
- Prospect for new business through networking, outbound calling, and face-to-face meetings
- Retain and grow existing accounts while increasing revenue and account share
- Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts
- Conduct in-depth client consultations to recommend appropriate print and mail solutions, including specifications such as materials, colors, and formats
- Participate in client-facing activities such as on-site visits, trade shows, and occasional travel for national accounts
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in HubSpot CRM and provide regular progress updates
Account Executive Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the printing or packaging industry
- Experience in the printing industry is required
- Strong understanding of print specifications, materials, and production processes
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term client relationships
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a disciplined, goal-oriented approach to sales activities
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft 365
- Resilience and adaptability in navigating a dynamic and competitive industry
