Job Description
A cutting-edge technology company in the auto manufacturing industry specializing in advanced composites, polycarbonate windows, and thermoformed plastics is seeking a 5 Axis CNC Programmer to join their team in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin! In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming 5-Axis CNC machines to manufacture complex parts. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine setup, tool selection, and optimizing machining processes. You'll work in a state-of-the-art facility known for its high-tech environment. Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify CNC programs for 5-Axis machines using software and engineering specifications
- Set up machines, ensuring proper alignment and preparation for specific work projects
- Conduct quality control inspections using measuring instruments to maintain the quality of machined components
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maximize performance
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Continuously improve machine processes to reduce cycle times, minimize scraps, and enhance production efficiency, collaborating with engineers' recommendations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in 5-Axis CNC machine programming
- Proficiency in operating 5-Axis machines
- Experience with CNC software, preferably MasterCam and SurfCam
- Precision machining expertise in complex parts
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2-D is a plus
