Job Description


A professional landscaping company that designs breathtaking outdoor spaces is in search of a Landscape Designer Sales Representative to join their team in Nohomish, OR.  The company specializes in both traditional and sustainable landscape design, construction, and maintenance services and they are looking for an expert salesperson with experience in those areas.  Your job will be to oversee sales, design, estimates, and bidding of a range of different landscape design projects.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Assure all plans, contracts, bids, and take-offs are completed on schedule, within budget
  • Serve both residential and commercial clients
  • Meet with clients onsite 2-3 times per week on average
  • Draft and design plans and projects, respond to clients and internal colleagues, and prepare sales presentations
  • Build and foster long-term, meaningful relationships with customers and the community
  • Consistently maintain communication with clients, workers, contractors, and the landscaping team
  • Review plans, proposed changes, budgets, and all other necessary documentation regularly
  • Document all necessary sales records
  • Maintain and quote accurate job costs per PLM guidelines
  • Provide timely updates to all related parties on pricing, completion, and any other necessary updates
  • Produce billing documentation and conduct customer walk-throughs
  • Collaborate with the administrative department to ensure all contract administration is completed on time and accurately

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of landscape design, construction estimating, sales, installation, and/or management experience
  • Strong familiarity with Pacific Northwest plant identification, disease and pest identification, water requirements, and pruning techniques for PNW plants
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with customer service skills
  • Tech-literate with experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and design software (ex: AutoCAD/Land FX)
  • Associates/Bachelor's in landscape design/architecture is preferred
  • Certification in horticulture, landscape design, construction management, sales, or related is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus
  • AutoCAD/Land FX experience is a plus
