Accounting Specialist
Job Description
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. The responsibilities for this job include handling 100 invoices per month for AP, processing ACH payments, preparing journal entries, and reconciling credit card payments to the general ledger. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the accounting field and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. You must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position is in Boynton Beach, FL and comes with great benefits.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process ACH payments and prepare journal entries
- Review and file cash disbursements
- Post and reconcile credit card payments to the general ledger
- Process payroll biweekly for about 25 employees
- Review bank activity daily and pull expense reports
- Weekly invoicing of all reimbursable expenses to clients
- Reversal and writing off invoices
- Confirm that documents have been received and scan for filing
- Review auction expenses and payment of fee-based units
- Post and reconcile credit card payments to the general ledger
- Ensure all credit card backup is scanned into ERP
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 3 years of experience preferred, 1 year required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- ERP experience preferred
- SAP Concur knowledge is a plus
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced business environment
