Civil Litigation Associate Attorney
Job Description
An established law firm located is looking to hire a Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team in Sherman Oaks, CA. This law firm provides litigation defense and business consultation legal services in a wide range of practice areas. The ideal candidate will have civil litigation or tort experience preferably in personal injury defense law. The Civil Litigation Attorney will work with a team of attorneys to handle all types of cases.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $160,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Settlement evaluation for a case
- Work in a team on cases
- Reviewing files and making recommendations
- Writing motions
- Preparing briefs
- Managing caseload
- Oversee pre-trial
- Reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records
Requirements:
- 2-3 of experience in civil litigation or tort required
- Experience in federal law preferred
- Ability to handle different levels of cases
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
