HVAC Operations Manager
Job Description
A heating and air conditioning company in Deerfield Beach, FL is searching for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team! This role is fully onsite and involves overseeing various operational aspects of the company, including construction, service, and customer interactions, with a focus on high-end custom homes. They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of general experience in the HVAC industry and 2 years of management to oversee the construction, replacement, service and call center while leading a team of 5 direct reports. This is a family-owned company and they offer full-benefits, internal promotions, top industry pay and the potential for significant bonuses!
Pay Range: $90,000 - $180,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage the construction, replacement, service, and call center departments
- Focus on HVAC services for high-end, custom residential properties
- Lead a team of direct reports, including Call Center Manager, Service Manager, Bookkeeper, Replacement Manager, and Construction Manager
- Ensure adherence to core values and maintain a high company culture
- Develop annual budgets and oversee monthly P&L reporting
- Monitor and forecast labor requirements on a quarterly basis
- Enhance customer interactions across platforms and ensure swift responses to requests and queries
- Supervise lead flow, marketing costs, and prospect-handling processes
- Manage labor scheduling and update internal customer service processes as needed
- Ensure compliance with permits, inspection requirements, and oversee company assets like vehicles and tools
- Conduct annual audits and inventory counts
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of general management/operations experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
- Basic understanding of P&L statements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Familiarity with Word and Excel; Service Titan and QuickBooks experience is a plus
- Must have HVAC experience
- Must have Air Conditioning experience
- Must have HVAC maintenance, installation and service knowledge
- Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed
