Remote Personal Injury Attorney - Connecticut Based
Job Description
A tech savvy and rapidly expanding law firm specializing in personal injury cases is seeking a Remote Personal Injury Attorney who is barred and located in Connecticut to focus exclusively on cases in that state. They are looking for a skilled attorney with at least 5 years of experience, with court room experience and a strong focus on plaintiff personal injury law. This amazing opportunity provides you with the flexibility to work fully remote, only requiring that you be available to do initial training in New York and attend onsite meetings with clients in Connecticut as needed. Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 DOE + commission
Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload rolling personal injury cases in various stages, exclusive to Connecticut
- Handling pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement preparation for automobile and premises liability cases
- Drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, motions, filings, and court approval processes
- Collaborating with paralegals, disbursement, and vetting teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of attorney experience, with significant personal injury experience
- Must be barred in Connecticut; additional bars in NY, NJ, or PA is a plus
- Must live in Connecticut and able to travel occasionally to New York for training and meetings
- Plaintiff side experience in personal injury cases is essential
- Courtroom experience is a must
- Proficiency in Outlook, Slack, Word; Litify (CRM) experience preferred
- Organized and able to navigate challenges effectively
